This Saturday, participants at the WCF were alerted by Professor Carmen Domínguez, of the Department of Civil Law at the Pontifical University of Chile, during the session entitled ‘Attacks against the Family,’ within the framework of the Sixth World Congress of Families, taking place this weekend until Sunday in Madrid’s Palacio de Congresos.

Distorting the sense of the meaning of words is one of the most common legal control mechanisms used by the proponents of Gender Ideology, according to all three members of the panel: Benjamin Bull, vice-president of the Alliance Defense Fund, who chaired the meeting; Alan Sears, president of that institution, who was unable to attend because of a long delay in his flight from New York, but who delegated the reading of the speech; and Richard Cohen, writer and author of the controversial book, “Coming Out Straight: Understanding and Healing Homosexuality.”

  • Hundreds of Young Persons will Travel Throughout Spain on Foot in Defense of Life

Provida Crossroad is coming to Spain in 2012.    Diego von Stauffenberg, the President and co-founder of the Pro-Life organization Provida Crossroads, made this announcement in the seminar on “Successful Cases in Leadership Training with Young People,” which took place within the framework of the World Congress of Families, presently taking place in Madrid.

Crossroads is an American initiative which was founded 17 years ago in San Francisco. Eleven university students who were inspired by the call of Pope John Paul II: “I ask all Young people not to be afraid; go out into the streets and proclaim the  Gospel of Life.”

  • Arsuaga: “The only institution which can reawaken our society is the family, the union between a man and a woman”

Ignacio Arsuaga criticized the situation facing the family institution in Europe, and in particular here in Spain, at the opening ceremonies of the Sixth World Congress of Families, taking place on Friday in Madrid’s Palacio de Congresos.

Arsuaga explained that “The only institution which can reawaken our society is the family, the union between a man and a woman.”

  • The Sixth World Congress of Families has requested the Government to provide protection after receiving serious threats

This important international Encounter is being targeted in some quarters as “a place where extremists and neo-Nazis can take    their vacations together under the Spanish sun…” and this is but one of the  charming  declarations  to emerge from these   subterranean sources.

The Congress Organizers have requested help from Government representatives in order to protect the more than 2000              participants in the Congress, as well as important officials, members of the press and of NGOs, and a considerable number of   children.
